Summary of 2016.

It was another busy year for the Group, we had an average attendance of more than twenty young members every week.

The group again supported the Village carnival with two stalls manned by young members and Helpers.  We had a very wet session during one of the hot evenings with sponge battles.

The Group also supported the Raft Race by erecting a promotional board in the centre of the village.

We had a visit by Richard from Derby Magic Circle who entertained and educated the members, and some parents, with a range of magic tricks.

We had an interesting, and messy, evening prior to Halloween when more than twenty pumpkins, that had been kindly donated by Willington Co-op, were hollowed and sculpted by the young members.

One of the highlights of the year was a 'Circus Workshop' which Paul Brown of 'Magical-Mayhem' ran at the club for a five week period during November and December.     To contact Magical-Mayhem click on this link

We completed the year with a highly successful Christmas party held at the Old School rooms on the 21st of December attended by more than 25 young members.

All of the activities would not be possible without the support of our young helpers Lucy, Leah, Lois, Grace and Chloe.
